Abstract: This book examines the welfare bricolage practices of migrants and refugees in superdiverse neighborhoods in Europe. It draws on original research from six European cities to explore how migrants and refugees navigate and negotiate the complex and often fragmented welfare systems in their new countries of residence. The book argues that welfare bricolage is a creative and resourceful way for migrants and refugees to access and combine different welfare resources to meet their needs. It also highlights the challenges and limitations of welfare bricolage, and the need for more inclusive and accessible welfare systems.
